New year!

So this is a brand new year! I have been on this site the last couple years and been very sporadic about it! Enough is enough!

I don’t have to post something every time I’m on! I just need to track my workouts for the week and post what and when I want! It’s easy and I made it complicated! Maybe posting and blogging will come more naturally for me, but for now I’m just going to take it slow and steady.

So, in light of the new beginning I have deleted all of my old posts and I’m starting fresh! So, I’ve worked out 3 times this week and I have another workout today and possibly this weekend that I will post on Monday!

Kick

So it seems as though every time I log on here it has been a couple months cince the time before! I really hate that! But life gets crazy and I only have access to a computer at work, so yeah. But I’m trying! And the important thing is that I’m being really active at the moment! :)

I’m very excited because I have been going to the gym on average about 3x per week and I have lost a full 10lbs since Aug! Yay! I’m really happy about that! I hope they keep on dropping and I finally get to my goal weight and my running goals! As the weight is coming off it has gotten easier to move forward.

I am running my first 5K in March. It’s the St Patrick’s day 5K and it should be a lot of fun! Then I am doing the Bolder Boulder 10K on Memorial day too! Woo hoo! Totally psyched!

Did kickboxing yesterday (the 4th) and whoa! I love that class, but I have zero upper body strength and I feel so sloppy with my jabs and such, but it will come as I keep doing it! :)  So that’s what I have for now! Have a great day!!
